FCS Group presented its latest molding technologies at the 2025 Taipei International Mold & Smart Manufacturing Equipment Exhibition, Taimold 2025, held from August 20 to 23. Under the theme "Smart Manufacturing × Sustainable Molding", the company emphasized the integration of intelligent production control with resource-efficient applications. According to FCS, the booth generated approximately NT$100 million in potential orders, and nearly 2,000 units of low-carbon plastic pallets were sold on site. The demonstrations focused on three areas: multi-color sandwich injection molding for consumer samples, factory-level digital oversight through real-time energy and data management, and circular pallet solutions aligned with ESG and circular economy practices. The program also included a keynote delivered by Lee Hsun-Yuan, director of the FCS R&D Center PIM Laboratory, titled "Low Carbon is Not an Option, It's a Standard: Smart Molding Solutions for Plastic Reduction and Yield Optimization." FCS reported sustained foot traffic from professional buyers over the four-day event, with discussions centering on low-carbon technologies and smart manufacturing use cases. Building on the Taipei showing, the company plans to exhibit in September at VietnamPlas 2025 with a focus on toggle and multi-color sandwich molding platforms.
Technology highlights
The FB-C series multi-color sandwich injection molding machine produced colorful cup samples on site. The setup demonstrated dual injection capability and multi-color design flexibility, targeting applications that combine aesthetics with material efficiency.
The iMF 4.0 smart manufacturing system provided real-time energy monitoring and data management intended to support factory digitalization. The system presentation focused on transparency of machine parameters, energy profiles and production data to facilitate process optimization.
Low-carbon circular plastic pallet solutions illustrated FCS's approach to reuse of materials and lifecycle considerations. The on-site sales of pallet units indicated buyer interest in circular economy implementations for logistics and handling.
Keynote focus on low-carbon molding
Invited by the organizer, Lee Hsun-Yuan outlined smart molding routes for reducing plastic usage and improving yield. The talk emphasized treating low-carbon performance as a standard rather than an option, aligning with broader industry efforts to combine process stability, energy management and material strategies.
Next stop: VietnamPlas 2025
Following Taimold 2025, FCS plans to exhibit at the 23rd Vietnam International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition, VietnamPlas 2025, from September 17 to 20. The company will feature the SA-400 toggle injection molding machine and the FB-150C sandwich and multi-color injection molding machine at booth A527, continuing the "Smart Manufacturing × Sustainable Molding" theme.
