The extended native SolidWorks library is now available and is intended to enable designers to carry out more efficient, flexible and future-proof design in the field of tool and mould construction. With a significantly greater variety of components and the use of intelligent, practical functions, the database supports both prototype development and the design of mass-production components directly within SolidWorks.
Greater diversity of components in the library
The native library has been supplemented with numerous new components. The extended range of elements available in the database includes, among others, guide elements, ejectors, components for demoulding and casting, elements related to measuring technology, cooling systems and general mould components. As a result, users gain a broader selection of ready-to-use CAD elements for diverse applications in mould construction.
Integrated take-off heads for optimised designs
Many of the new and modified components are equipped with integrated, optimised take-off heads. This solution is intended to reduce the required finishing operations, increase the efficiency of the design process in the CAD system and simplify the practical implementation of projects in mould-making.
The take-off heads are available in two versions, as a "minimum material abrasion" variant and as a "mid-tolerance" variant. This allows for a more flexible design approach and enables components to be adapted to the requirements of a specific tool or mould project.
Basis for efficient design processes
With this comprehensive update of the native SolidWorks library, Hasco provides users with a basis for simple and efficient design processes, as well as for achieving the greatest possible design freedom in the field of mould construction.
