ENGEL Polska opens expanded Warsaw headquarters

ENGEL Polska opens expanded…

On 2 October 2025, ENGEL Polska officially inaugurated its expanded headquarters in Warsaw. The event brought together employees, customers and strategic partners to mark the company’s continued investment in one of Europe’s most dynamic plastics markets. The expansion increased the facility from 1,100 m² to 1,800 m², enabling broader training capabilities, faster technical support and extended automation offerings. The new Technology Centre presents the complete ENGEL and Wintec portfolio, including an electric e-mac injection moulding machine, a two-platen Duo machine paired with a 6-axis Kuka robot, and an e-victory machine featuring Viper robotic integration from Tma Automation. The site is designed to host mould trials, application development and customer training, reflecting a focus on education, automation and digitalisation to address skills shortages and rising productivity requirements.

Executive remarks

Stefan Engleder, CEO of ENGEL Group, opened the ceremony by highlighting Poland’s strategic role in the company’s global development. “Poland has become a key driver of innovation and automation in Europe’s plastics industry. With this expansion, ENGEL strengthens its local presence and deepens its commitment to customer proximity and technological leadership.” He added: “Our goal is to provide integrated, future-proof solutions that empower our customers to stay competitive in a rapidly changing market.” Engleder also underlined the value of the group’s automation expertise: “The synergy between ENGEL and Tma Automation allows us to deliver turnkey systems from a single source, a decisive advantage for our partners.”

ENGEL Polska’s growth trajectory

Engel Polska was formally established in 2002 following a decade of representation by Michał Rębkowski between 1992 and 2001. The business began in a 50 m² apartment and grew rapidly, opening its first dedicated headquarters in 2006–2007 with 1,100 m². By 2025, the site had expanded to 1,800 m², illustrating sustained development. Over the years, the company increased its workforce from 13 to more than 85 employees and today supports over 5,600 injection moulding machines across Poland. Annual deliveries exceed 300 machines, positioning ENGEL as the domestic market leader. The company is led by Managing Director Piotr Nachiło, who continues to drive strategic development and a customer-focused approach.

Market rationale and training capacity

During the inauguration, Adam Marciniak, Head of Sales at ENGEL Polska, outlined the motivation behind the investment and the role of the new spaces. “This investment was driven by the rapid growth of the Polish plastics market. More space means more possibilities, we can now support our customers faster and more efficiently.” He noted the expanded competencies and infrastructure: “We’ve created three fully equipped training rooms and a next-generation Technology Centre, where customers can test moulds, explore automation, and develop their teams.” Marciniak pointed to longer-term priorities for the sector: “In times of labour shortages, we believe in investing in education, automation, and digitalisation, not just for ENGEL, but for the future of the entire industry.”

Automation partnership with Tma Automation

Tma Automation, part of ENGEL Group since 2021, played a central role in the opening. The company specialises in linear and 6-axis robotic systems that complement Engel and Wintec injection moulding machines. In 2025, Tma Automation inaugurated a new robotics factory in Gdańsk, doubling its production capacity and strengthening its presence in Central Europe. The partnership enables ENGEL to offer fully integrated, turnkey production cells that combine injection moulding with advanced automation, addressing labour constraints and the need for higher efficiency.

Service footprint in Kraków

ENGEL’s service network in Poland also includes the Support Center in Kraków, established in 2007. By 2025, the team had grown to 17 specialists providing spare parts coordination and hotline support, with digital solutions to follow. The unit operates from a new office in V-Offices Kraków and forms an integral part of ENGEL’s European service infrastructure.
