Campetella at a New Level for K-Show 2025

Campetella at a New Level…

In response to persistent market volatility and labor constraints, Campetella Robotic Center is expanding its portfolio with modular systems designed to raise automation levels, shorten changeovers and support operational continuity through operator upskilling. The company emphasizes that these needs are not confined to complex cells, but extend to routine operations such as boxing and end-of-line handling, where reducing manual work and ensuring consistent quality can have material impact on unit costs and overall equipment effectiveness. At K-Show Düsseldorf, from 8 to 15 October 2025, the Italian manufacturer plans to demonstrate outcomes of recent strategic initiatives, including a dedicated medical business unit, a compact in-mold labeling concept for food packaging, a renewed range of automatic winders for flexible pipe packaging, and a new HMI platform with integrated artificial intelligence. Additional demo cells target nicotine pouch containers and post-molding decoration, complemented by strengthened local service in the DACH region through Campetella Deutschland GmbH.

Medical-focused unit and cleanroom application

Launched in June 2025, Campetella Medical targets ISO 7 cleanroom environments with configurable solutions tailored to the requirements of the medical sector. At the show, the company will run an application for the production of 5 ml single-dose strips for pharmaceutical packaging. The system is engineered for ease of use, full traceability of production and quality data, fast reconfiguration, and reduced implementation and qualification times. It is based on a tandem of Concept and Spin robots, combining a side-entry and a SCARA unit, both fully programmable and delivered in a medical execution.

A new 3D navigable HMI will be presented for the first time to enhance the digital interaction between operator, machine and manufacturer. The cell integrates a vision system developed by Egicon, a specialist in quality control for the medical sector.

German subsidiary strengthens DACH support

Since 1 September 2025, Campetella Deutschland GmbH has been fully operational in Meinerzhagen. The subsidiary is led by Branch Manager Maurizio Conte, with the support of Peter Nellen as Global Key Account and Tony Knoche as Service Manager. The team provides direct technical and commercial assistance to customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Modula Food Pack for IML applications

Campetella will show Modula Food Pack, a compact concept for food packaging production in up to 8 cavities. With an overall length of 5.5 meters, the system targets cycle times as fast as 4 seconds and integrates 100 percent quality inspection, single-part rejection and fully automated boxing. The cell is designed to operate for more than six hours without material refills or operator intervention. The IML robot leverages more than two decades of company expertise in food packaging.

Automatic winders for flexible pipe packaging

Following five years of R&D and the filing of 10 patents, Campetella will introduce a complete range of automatic winders for flexible pipe packaging. The scalable machines cover coil diameters from 300 to 2000 mm and support multiple packaging modes, including elastic thread, stretch film, and paper or plastic strap. Quick format setup, manual or automatic, is a core design feature to maximize configurability. Integration with robotic palletizing and handling enables turnkey solutions from packaging to end-of-line logistics. Local support is provided through the company’s global service network.

New HMI platform with integrated artificial intelligence

Campetella’s new HMI platform is set to become the standard across future applications. Powered by AI algorithms, the interface is designed for simplicity, speed and customization. Key functions include predictive assistance, real-time parameter optimization and advanced process data analytics, forming a digital control room intended to improve flexibility and safety.

Solutions for nicotine pouch containers

The company highlights configurable systems aligned with the range of production requirements for nicotine pouch containers. The offering spans high-speed part removal directly from the mold, assembly, boxing and palletizing, with layouts adaptable to limited floor space. At the Campetella booth in Hall 12, C23, a demo cell with the GS2 carbon Cartesian robot and the Spin2 SCARA robot will show high-speed component handling and the honeycomb boxing configuration used in this segment.

Post-molding pad printing decoration

For promotional or technical articles, Campetella integrates pad printing, digital printing and laser decoration in complete post-molding systems. At the Toyo Europe booth in Hall 13, B11, a product extraction system based on the CX robot will feed a multicolor pad printing machine to decorate a promotional item. The compact cell aims to demonstrate how a structured partner with modular and configurable solutions can support simpler applications.
