From 9 to 12 June 2026, Dr. Boy GmbH & Co. KG will exhibit together with its Italian representative, ST.A.TE Technologies S.r.l, at Plast Milano 2026, regarded as one of Europe’s more important events for the plastics industry. The companies’ presentation will focus on compact, energy-efficient and precise injection moulding machines intended for various industries and applications. Live machine demonstrations are planned at the booth to show the capabilities of Boy equipment in areas related to packaging, medical technology, technical parts and elastomer processing. Visitors will be able to see specific applications carried out on several machine models, which is intended to enable a practical assessment of operating parameters and potential areas of use for these solutions in production.
The range of presented applications includes both products for the packaging industry and medical components as well as custom-made parts. This exhibition setup is intended to provide a cross-sectional view of the capabilities of small and medium-sized injection moulding machines in processes requiring short cycle times, repeatability and stable production conditions. According to the exhibitors’ announcement, it will also be an opportunity to discuss current technologies, future projects and solutions tailored to individual user requirements.
Machine and application presentations
Bottle caps are to be produced on the Boy XS E. In this case, the manufacturer points to short cycle times, high precision and the possibility of running production with a small space requirement.
The electromechanical Boy 80 Electric injection moulding machine is to produce blood filters live. This application relates to the requirements of modern medical technology, where process reliability, repeatability and clean manufacturing conditions are of key importance.
A custom mould will be presented on the Boy 20 E PRO for the production of a pharmaceutical component. According to the information provided by the companies, this solution is intended to underline the flexibility of Boy technology and the possibility of efficiently implementing solutions designed for specific production needs.
During the trade fair, a tray for French fries is to be produced on the Boy 35 E. This application is intended to show solutions for the packaging and consumer goods sector, with an emphasis on cost efficiency.
Focus on efficiency and compact design
The presence of Boy and ST.A.TE at Plast Milano 2026 is intended to highlight their offering in the area of energy-efficient and space-saving injection moulding technology. As stated in the announcement, compact machine design is gaining importance under growing requirements related to sustainability, production flexibility and quality.
The applications presented at the booth are intended to show in practical terms how different products can be manufactured precisely, reliably and while maintaining cost efficiency. Visitors will be able to talk on site with experts from Boy and ST.A.TE about current technological solutions, applications tailored to user needs and planned projects.
