G-Mation P6 modular automation controller
The G-Mation P6 is a modular CPU for the G-Mation family, based on x86 architecture and compliant with EN61131-3. The PLC is designed for real-time applications and supports scalable HTML operator interfaces and dockerized applications.
The G-Mation P6 is the modular CPU of the G-Mation family. It conforms to the EN61131-3 standard and provides a fully scalable HTML operator interface for use with multiple devices, including a web panel, smartphone and remote service tools. Based on x86 architecture, the unit is positioned as a high-performance PLC for real-time applications. It can integrate G-Mation G3 I/O modules and is equipped with multiple EtherCAT masters with distributed clock and redundancy capabilities. The controller also implements a Docker architecture for the installation and management of dockerized applications, including advanced configuration and diagnostics functions for the PLC.
Communication and application support
The G-Mation P6 supports additional applications, including IIoT functionalities and open source programs. This application environment is intended to extend the controller’s functionality while keeping configuration and diagnostics functions available as dockerized applications.
The controller offers up to four freely configurable Gigabit RJ45 Ethernet ports for EtherCAT master or TCP/IP connection. One of the ports can be powered with PoE class 6 up to 60 W, enabling the supply of external devices.
