Dassault Systèmes expands the 3DExperience platform

Dassault Systèmes is expanding its AI-native agentic 3DExperience platform with new skills for virtual companions, supporting people in collaborative design. AURA, LEO and MARIE, Dassault Systèmes’ virtual companions, are now available on the AI-native agentic 3DEXPERIENCE platform. They co-create solutions and collaborate with users, providing working conditions based on advanced scientific and industry knowledge. This is an important step towards the development of factories using virtual twins. The virtual companions perform tasks based on the first available knowledge and know-how models of key importance to industrial operations, including program management, engineering and simulation, and life sciences.

Dassault Systèmes announced the availability on the 3DExperience platform of its virtual companions: AURA for program management, LEO for complex engineering tasks, and MARIE, which supports work using advanced scientific knowledge. The company also presented the concept of factories using virtual twins, intended for various industrial sectors.

Virtual companions in industrial processes

Equipped with 19 skills, AURA, LEO and MARIE enable a new way of co-creating and collaborating with users. They allow joint development of products, assets and services, as well as faster and more effective resolution of complex industrial challenges.

Each skill, defined as a set of competencies, supports users in carrying out tasks, provides information that was previously difficult to identify, enables analysis of previously unused opportunities, and performs specific tasks within industrial processes covering business operations, product design, engineering, simulation, manufacturing and operations.

The virtual companions carry out specific tasks using structured knowledge and know-how from a given industry. They interpret the user's intentions, reason in an industrial context and make decisions, delivering results based on scientific knowledge and reflecting real industrial conditions.

Concept of factories using virtual twins
