At K 2025 in Düsseldorf, Toyo plans to present the next generation of its all-electric injection moulding technology and mark its one hundredth anniversary. The company will focus on the new Si-7 series, described as a completely new machine platform designed to combine precision, process stability and resource efficiency. Visitors to Hall 13, Stand B11 will be able to follow live demonstrations and discuss practical implementation with Deckerform, Toyo's exclusive distribution partner for German-speaking countries. According to the company, the Si-7 series is engineered for high repeatability and consistent production, while addressing energy use and maintenance needs for manufacturers seeking stable, economical operation. The platform builds on an all-electric architecture with highly rigid frames and linear guides, and introduces an updated S-HIN plasticising system. The mechanical design targets improved melt stability across a range of materials, including typical grades of PP and PMMA, in applications requiring short cycles and precise control.
New machine platform and key features
Toyo describes the Si-7 series as more than an incremental update. It is positioned as a new machine platform with optimised energy consumption of over 80 percent compared to conventional hydraulic systems, combined with high process reliability. The reinforced frame design and linear guidance aim to minimise deflection, while the S-HIN plasticising system is intended to stabilise melting behaviour, including with materials that can challenge consistency. In production, the series is targeted at delivering precise and repeatable results alongside lower operating costs.
Beyond performance, the generation adds improvements in ergonomics, connectivity and ease of maintenance. These aspects are intended to support clean, quiet and energy-efficient operation across diverse moulding environments.
A hundred years of innovation, combined in a new generation: the fully electric TOYO Si-7 sets new standards in precision, sustainability and efficiency, premiering at K 2025.
Three live applications at the fair
During the show, Toyo will run three all-electric systems in production to illustrate different application profiles:
- Si-180-7 H450F D.50 mm will mould tea cups from PP, focusing on compact machine design, high precision and shortened cycle times.
- Si-230-6S H450E D.50 mm will manufacture a medical product with a fully automatic packaging system, highlighting cleanliness, traceability and repeat accuracy.
- Si-350-6S JH750E PACK D.60 mm will produce food containers in a six-cavity mould, including IML labelling and an integrated packaging solution, aimed at demonstrating cycle control and continuous performance in a more complex setup.
Fully electric precision for sensitive applications: The TOYO Si-230-6S produces a medical product with a fully automatic packaging system, clean, traceable and absolutely reliable.
Distribution and support
Toyo has pursued all-electric injection moulding for decades and positions the Si-7 series as a redefinition of this approach. The machines are presented as combining efficiency and precision with improved ergonomics, connectivity and maintainability. In German-speaking markets, the technology will continue to be available via Deckerform, which will support manufacturers seeking sustainable, economical and high-precision production.
