Husky showcases PET packaging systems at Gulfood 2025

Husky showcases PET packaging…

Husky Technologies returned to exhibit at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 in Dubai, UAE, where the company emphasized combining sustainability, product safety and affordability in food and beverage packaging. At Hall 2, Stand B 2-4, Husky outlined how its systems, tooling and services are intended to support scalable use of recycled PET, maintain product integrity across the supply chain and improve overall production economics for brands and converters.

The showcase covered three areas. First, sustainable production, including packaging made with up to 100% rPET, lightweight bottles and containers and mono-material PET designs that facilitate recycling. Second, safe packaging designed to protect product integrity from filling through distribution by preserving freshness, reducing risks of contaminants and enabling compliance with global standards. Third, affordable manufacturing by optimizing systems for speed, quality and productivity to deliver premium packaging at a competitive conversion cost across markets.

“In the Middle East, where innovation and tradition converge, Husky is proud to enable leading brands and producers to deliver packaging solutions that are sustainable, safe, and economically competitive. Through advancements in rPET, decarbonization, and decentralized manufacturing, alongside breakthroughs in bottling, packaging performance, and water access, we empower our customers to deliver premium quality at the industry’s lowest conversion cost, helping them lead with confidence in a dynamic and rapidly growing market,” said Wassim Labban, Vice President, Systems & Tooling, EEMEIA, SEA, ANZ.

Technology highlights

  • Regional debut of the next-generation HyPET 6e high-output platform equipped with a 200-cavity mold, engineered to increase productivity. The system introduces advanced vacuum drying to elevate rPET processing with higher energy efficiency, tighter process control, material protection and improved uptime.
  • Introduction of HyPET NX6, a compact, cost-focused PET molding system for mid-volume output, designed to provide an entry point for efficiency, quality and future growth.
  • A new high-performance packaging molding platform featuring a new design, enhanced system architecture and fully integrated hot runner and mold controller technologies. The platform is supported by the Advantage+Elite remote monitoring service.
  • Closure forming technology HyCAP SecuRE+, enabling bottles and closures to be produced entirely in PET to create fully circular, mono-material packaging.
