The organisers of the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe 2026 have announced the shortlist of finalists. The winners in seven categories will be revealed on 6 May during the Plastics Recycling Show Europe in Amsterdam, where all nominated products, technologies and solutions will also be presented.

The competition finalists were selected in seven categories covering applications of recycled plastics in products, product technologies and recycling machinery, as well as an individual award for a plastics recycling ambassador in Europe.

This category covers plastic components used in vehicles and electrical and electronic equipment that incorporate recycled materials. The finalists are:

The jury consists of the plastics recycling ambassadors from the last three editions of the competition: Olivier Vilcot, former General Manager of Syndicat National des Régénérateurs de Matières Plastiques (SRP), Erica Canaia, CEO of FIMIC, Vicente Olmos Jorge, CEO and Founder of SINTAC, and Manfred Hackl, CEO of EREMA Group GmbH. They are joined by Ton Emans, President of Plastics Recyclers Europe, Rune Thoralfsson, Director of Norfolier GreenTec AS, and Beatriz Santos, Editor of Sustainable Plastics.
