Exolon Group to present Ecorange at K 2025

Exolon Group to present Ecorange…

Under the motto "The future is sustainable", Exolon Group will present its Ecorange product line at the K trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. The portfolio comprises transparent polycarbonate and polyester sheet solutions designed to reduce the carbon footprint. According to the company, the materials maintain consistently high quality and technical performance. Ecorange addresses demand for lower-impact thermoplastic sheets by combining recycled and renewable raw materials with verified chain-of-custody controls. The offer targets applications where transparency, durability and dimensional stability are required, while prioritizing traceability across the value chain.

The Ecorange platform consists of four product types based on recycled or renewable feedstocks. Depending on the variant, sheets may contain up to 100% pre-consumer recyclate, post-consumer content or certified bio-circular materials. Exolon Group emphasizes full traceability throughout the value chain, supported by ISCC Plus certification obtained in 2021. The certification framework enables documentation of material origins and movements, intended to provide transparency and credibility for customers seeking compliance-ready solutions.

The company reports that its sustainability measures extend beyond the product portfolio. Through the Closing the Loop initiative, processing scrap is collected and recycled into new material streams. Exolon Group also notes that production sites are partly powered by in-house solar energy and are certified to ISO 14001 environmental standards. These actions are positioned to support circular economy principles and to reduce the environmental impact associated with sheet production and processing.

Materials and traceability

Ecorange covers transparent polycarbonate and polyester sheet formats. Feedstocks span three categories, depending on the grade: pre-consumer recyclate, post-consumer content and certified bio-circular materials. For selected variants, the recycled or bio-circular share can reach up to 100%. Exolon Group highlights end-to-end traceability as a core element of the platform, with ISCC Plus certification in place since 2021 to verify mass-balance or segregated material flows as applicable within the certified scope.

Circularity initiatives

Under the Closing the Loop program, Exolon Group promotes the collection of processing scrap and its reintegration into new material flows. In manufacturing, the company reports partial on-site solar power usage and certification to ISO 14001 environmental standards. These measures are intended to complement material choices in Ecorange by addressing recycling and operational impacts within the production system.

Exolon Group will exhibit at K 2025 in Düsseldorf, Hall 8b, Booth F30.
