Arburg presents new Allrounder Trend injection moulding machines in Poland

Arburg presents new Allrounder…

From 19 to 22 May 2026, the 30th anniversary edition of the Plastpol trade fair will take place in Kielce. The event is regarded as an important barometer of the mood in the Polish plastics and rubber industry. Arburg Poland has been participating since the very first edition and will again present its injection moulding and digital solutions in 2026 in Hall E, at stand E30. The main highlight of the exhibition will be the Polish premiere of the new standard electric Allrounder Trend injection moulding machines. An Allrounder 1800 e Trend with a Multilift Select linear robot will be shown, implementing automated production of spatulas. The second exhibit will be an automated hybrid Allrounder 470 H for manufacturing drinking cups.

At the stand, Arburg experts will also present how tailored injection moulding solutions and digital products and services can be used to increase production efficiency, while at the same time reducing energy consumption and ensuring traceable processes. The ALS Manufacturing Execution System, the arburgXworld customer portal and assistance functions integrated into the machine control systems will be on display.

Allrounder Trend as a new standard in injection moulding

The electric Allrounder Trend injection moulding machines have been designed for standard applications across various industries and are available worldwide. These machines are characterised by short set-up times, intuitive operation and simplified maintenance, combined with low investment and operating costs. At market launch, four sizes with clamping forces from 500 to 2,000 kN will be available.

All machines in the Trend series are equipped with the new Gestica lite control system with an intuitive user interface and a clearly structured dashboard. This solution is intended to facilitate machine operation and access to key process parameters.

At Plastpol 2026, an Allrounder 1800 e Trend will be presented in combination with a four-cavity cold runner mould from Akro-Plastic. The mould produces spatulas in automatic mode as part of a complete cell designed in Poland.

The project implementation was carried out by the Arburg Poland team in cooperation with local partners. A Multilift Select 8 linear robotic system is responsible for removing the moulded parts from the tool and placing them on a conveyor belt. A six-axis robot then transfers the spatulas to a laser station, where they are customised.

Automated hybrid injection moulding machine for cup production

The second injection moulding exhibit at the Arburg stand will be a hybrid Allrounder 470 H from the Hidrive series with a clamping force of 1,000 kN. In a cycle time of around 24 seconds, and using a two-cavity mould from Adoma, transparent 0.5-litre drinking cups made of PET will be produced. They are intended as a practical and more sustainable alternative to glass and single-use products. In this cell as well, a Multilift Select 8 linear robotic system is responsible for demoulding and placing the parts.

The hybrid injection moulding machines of the Hidrive series combine an electric, energy-efficient and precise clamping unit with a powerful, high-dynamic hydraulic injection unit. According to the manufacturer, these machines stand out in particular due to reduced acquisition and operating costs, an optimised energy balance and shorter cycle times.

Arburg as a partner for complete production cells

Against the background of a shortage of skilled workers and rising labour costs, the importance of complete, automated production cells in Poland is steadily increasing. Arburg sees its role as a partner supplying customers with tailored turnkey solutions that go beyond the injection moulding machine itself. This includes the integration of automation, peripheral systems and after-sales support.

Visitors to the stand will be able to familiarise themselves with selected functions and innovations in the field of digitalisation. The Arburg ALS Manufacturing Execution System will be presented, enabling process monitoring and documentation, as well as the arburgXworld customer portal and the Arburg Remote Service (ARS) for remote service support.

The new Gestica lite control system will be demonstrated on a simulator, allowing visitors to gain hands-on experience of the interface and menu structure. Numerous assistance and pilot functions will also be shown on the control systems of the exhibition machines, including "aXw Control EnergyAssist" for energy management and "aXw Control RecyclatePilot" to support processing of regranulates and recyclates.

Arburg experts will explain how such tools can be used to organise plastics production in a more "intelligent", efficient and sustainability-oriented way, while at the same time achieving lower total cost of ownership of the installation and stable part quality.
