Röhm recognized as a leader in the CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment 2024 program

Röhm recognized as a leader…

Röhm has been recognized as a global leader in the Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) supplier assessment program for its commitment to climate protection along the supply chain. The company achieved leadership level A and was thus included in the CDP’s Supplier Engagement Leadership Board in 2024. This award represents the highest rating in the Supplier Engagement Assessment Program, which is conducted by the CDP.

The ranking honors Röhm for its outstanding strategies and actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and minimize climate-related risks throughout the entire supply chain. CDP assesses several thousands of companies worldwide each year - only a select few make it onto the Leadership Board.

“Sustainability is a core element of our corporate strategy,” says Hans-Peter Hauck, COO. “This recognition affirms our commitment to advancing climate protection not only within our own operations but also in collaboration with our partners along the entire value chain.”

As part of its environmental sustainability program “Track 2030”, Röhm aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2030 compared to the base year 2020, and to achieve net-zero emissions across all business areas by 2050 at the latest.

“In annual Supplier Summits, Röhm employees from the areas of sustainability and procurement exchange ideas with customers and suppliers about climate strategies and specific projects”, says Christopher Schindler, Head of Procurement at Röhm. "An open and trusting cooperation with our customers and suppliers is the key to achieving our sustainability goals."
