Rajoo Engineers Ltd. has completed a significant upgrade of the Shree Yantralaya facility, the company's machine shop in Rajkot. According to the company, the investment strengthens its in-house manufacturing capabilities and increases its ability to produce machine components with high precision, consistency and productivity. The company describes the site as one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in India focused on plastics extrusion technologies. The upgrade included the commissioning of advanced machining technologies from machine tool manufacturers Okuma, Huron and Jyoti. As a result, a manufacturing environment has been created that enables the fully in-house production of large, complex and high-value machine components with high accuracy and consistency. The facility is therefore expected to better meet the requirements related to the production of critical components for the next generation of extrusion systems.
According to the information provided by the company, the upgraded facility combines advanced 5-axis multitasking, vertical turning and milling, and high-performance machining processes under one roof. This equipment scope is intended to significantly expand Rajoo's capabilities in the production of critical components for extrusion systems. The company also indicates that the investment improves process efficiency, increases the share of value addition carried out in-house, shortens lead times, and further strengthens quality standards across the entire product portfolio.
Importance of the investment for in-house production
Utsav Doshi, Joint Managing Director at Rajoo Engineers Ltd., commented on the investment. As he noted, "Manufacturing excellence is built through continuous investment in technology, capability, and people. The strengthening of Shree Yantralaya reflects our long-term vision of building world-class manufacturing infrastructure that supports innovation, quality, and sustainable growth. These investments strengthen our ability to manufacture increasingly sophisticated machines and deliver advanced extrusion solutions while creating greater value for customers worldwide."
The company emphasises that the completion of this stage of the upgrade strengthens its integrated manufacturing ecosystem. In Rajoo's assessment, the investment supports the further development of the company's capabilities in plastics processing, converting and printing technologies, and also provides a foundation for subsequent stages in the development of its machinery offering.
