Milacron showcased its new setup and machinery at Plastpol.

Milacron announced this organizational change to be part of their ongoing global expansion strategy and continued strengthening of local services across Europe. This is seen as an important step to provide dedicated resources and now even stronger support in this region, based on a solid plan for closer customer interaction and enhanced services and support levels to overall European customer base.
Piotr Wieczorek brings a wealth of experience to this position from his current role as regional field sales with Mold-Masters. He has been working in the plastics industry for almost 20 years in various sales positions focusing on injection molding technologies. Piotr Wieczorek joined the Mold-Masters team in 2007 and has been growing the Polish market with a successful track record in driving success with major global end users and key accounts.

Denis Poelman, Managing Director of Milacron’s Injection Molding Machinery Business in Europe commented: “This is a very important step for Milacron in Europe. We successfully introduced our direct presence in Italy, Benelux and number of other European countries just recently and are now thrilled about this new setup for Poland”.

The new sales and service structure is designed to focus on all customer activities in Poland and will underline Milacron's commitment to this market. Local customers as well as any company who has production facilities in Poland will benefit from the newly created resources as well as from the comprehensive direct customer support and injection molding expertise. A local technical services team and a direct service hot line are part of the new direct support setup.
The Plastpol trade show was chosen to present the new setup to a larger audience and showcase the new injection molding machinery and overall Milacron product and service portfolio. The booth in hall F will host an Elektron Evo 200 all-electric injection molding machine cell highlighting the mold fan favorite “crinkle box” in a handy size combined with the NEW Standard Milacron Linear Robot and Mold-Masters E-Multi Auxiliary Injection Unit.

On display were also the latest Mold-Masters hot runner technologies. One of them is the Summit-Series: Mold-Masters’ new, premium hot runner line. The new hot runner nozzle offers four times less thermal variation from set point, compared to the typical thermal variation seen in a nozzle with a heater band. Also on display were Mold-Masters Fusion-Series G2 drop-in hot runner which offers a single point connection design that ensures easy installation, faster start-ups, reliable operation and user-friendly maintenance for small to large part molding applications.

DME represents the industry’s broadest range of products for mold makers, processors and mold designers. Among its offer of unlimited mold base configurations are two new products engineered to save time and money: The NEW DME Large Mold Bases and the NEW TruCool Conformal Cooling inserts that produce impressive results via increased productivity and significant time, energy and material efficiencies.
