Haitian presents Niigata MDVR electric vertical machine at K 2025

Haitian presents Niigata MDVR…

Haitian International plans the European premiere of Niigata Machinery's fully electric vertical injection molding machine MDVR100S8500 at K 2025. The vertical machine is targeted at precision applications and compact production cells, including optical and connector components. The design centers on a wide platen clamping structure to support stable mold mounting, a smooth high-speed rotary table with accurate positioning for insert and overmolding tasks, and a low-center injection unit capable of high-pressure molding. The platform integrates precise digital process control and advanced mold protection functions. Process options such as Balance Pressure Filling (BPF) and Constant Pressure Filling (CPF) are designed to reduce residual stress, enhance part consistency and improve material efficiency. During the show, an Estun robot will support part removal, illustrating a cell layout focused on repeatability and footprint optimization.

Machine concept and key features

  • Fully electric, vertical architecture aimed at precision and space-saving cell design.
  • Wide platen clamping structure for rigidity and accurate mold support.
  • High-speed rotary table with position accuracy for insert handling and cycle stability.
  • Low-center injection unit enabling high-pressure molding and balanced filling.
  • Digital process control with advanced mold protection functions.
  • BPF and CPF to manage cavity filling dynamics, lower residual stresses and improve material utilization.

Live demonstration at K 2025

The exhibited MDVR100S8500 will mold a delicate telescope tube made of PMMA in a two-cavity mold. The demonstrated cycle time is 40 seconds. The cell is supported by an Estun robot for part handling. The run is intended to showcase process reproducibility, mold protection and the contribution of BPF and CPF to quality and efficiency.

New manufacturing site in Niigata City

In August 2025, Niigata Machinery inaugurated a new headquarters and factory in Niigata City, Japan. The site is presented as a strategic element in the Haitian Group manufacturing network and reflects Niigata's focus on producing high-end electric injection molding machines based on Japanese engineering with international scalability.
