At the K 2025 trade fair, 8-15 October 2025 in Düsseldorf, Ceta Testsysteme will present field-tested leak and flow testing devices designed for 100% end-of-line quality control of plastic components in series production. The portfolio targets manufacturers seeking reliable tightness and flow verification for parts such as injection-moulded housings, closures, connectors, cooling modules and packaging. Visitors will find the company in Hall 6, booth D76.
Industrial plastics production demands high standards of tightness, functionality and product safety. Defective components can lead to downtime, complaints or safety-critical consequences. For this reason, many manufacturers integrate routine testing as a fully automated, end-of-line step in their production processes. Ceta’s solutions support these requirements across a wide spectrum of product sizes and geometries.
- Injection-moulded housings and hollow bodies such as bottles, canisters, plastic drums and IBCs up to 1,000 litres, tested for tightness against media leakage
- Closures and caps, tested for tightness
- Disposable medical products, tubes and catheters, tested for tightness and flow
- Connecting elements and plug connectors, tested for tightness
- Cooling channels and fluid channels in plastic components, tested for flow and tightness against leakage
- Membranes, filter inserts and porous components, tested for flow
The breadth of applications, from small-volume precision parts to large-volume hollow bodies, requires the use of different measurement methods and dedicated device variants.
Device portfolio and measurement methods
Ceta’s testing systems predominantly use compressed air as the test medium. Depending on the task, leak testers equipped with gauge pressure sensors or differential pressure sensors are applied. For large-volume test parts with small leakage rates, leak testers with a calorimetric mass flow sensor enable sensitive and stable measurements. The Cetatest 725 LV leak tester was developed specifically for large-volume products such as plastic drums and IBCs. Across the range, product volumes from 0.1 ml up to 1,000 l can be tested.
Flow testing targets components including membranes, filters and pipes. With Ceta flow testers and configurable laminar flow elements, flow ranges from 3 ml/min to 200 l/min are covered. The devices are available with standard industrial interfaces, enabling transfer of measurement results, as well as remote control and parameterisation of test programs within production systems.
Calibration, warranty and support
Ceta test devices and calibration standards are supplied as standard, at no extra charge, with an internationally recognised calibration certificate in accordance with DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025. Test devices carry a 3-year warranty, optionally extendable to 5 years. As a solution partner, Ceta Testsysteme GmbH supports customers throughout implementation, from product development and feasibility verification to selection of suitable testing technology, series production and subsequent process optimisations.
