20 years of Zahoransky USA in the North American market

20 years of Zahoransky USA…

Zahoransky USA Inc. is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The company, which began its presence in the North American market through cooperation with a U.S. sales representative, gradually evolved into an independent subsidiary based in West Chicago, Illinois. It now serves customers throughout the United States and Canada, providing support including consulting, machine commissioning and after-sales service. To mark the anniversary, the company organized an open house intended to highlight the link between the North American market and German engineering expertise. The event was also an opportunity to present the development of the company’s local structures as well as its service and spare parts capabilities.

Initially, Zahoransky operated in North America through a U.S. sales agent. An important stage in its development came in October 2014, when the existing form of cooperation was transformed into an independent subsidiary. Since February 2015, Zahoransky USA has operated from its current location in West Chicago, from where it provides comprehensive support to customers in the United States and Canada. As the company emphasizes, this development enabled closer contact with customers and faster responses to their technical and operational support needs.

Development of local structures and customer support

According to the information provided, over the past decade Zahoransky USA has systematically strengthened its market position. Open house events organized during this period supported direct dialogue with prospective customers and repeatedly led to the establishment of new business relationships. At the same time, the company expanded the teams responsible for service and spare parts, while also optimizing internal processes. These activities were aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and shortening response times.

The West Chicago location also played an important role during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the government’s Operation Warp Speed program, Zahoransky participated in supplying production equipment for components used in the distribution of newly developed vaccines. The company points to this period as an example of the team’s ability to respond quickly and flexibly to non-standard challenges.

Dr Heinrich Sielemann, Chief Technology Officer at Zahoransky, who travelled from Germany for the anniversary celebrations, said: "Twenty years in the United States demonstrate how important local presence and close customer relationships are to our business. Our team on site combines Zahoransky’s innovative strength with a deep understanding of the North American market."

Open house with a live demonstration of the Z.Puma machine

To mark its 20th anniversary, Zahoransky USA invited customers from various parts of the United States to its open house. Guests attending the event represented regions from the West Coast and the Midwest to the East Coast. The main point of the programme was a live demonstration of the Z.Puma machine, during which the production of two different brushes was presented. The demonstration was intended to show the performance, flexibility and versatility of this solution.
