New servo pump software reduces initial costsBaumüller has developed a new servo pump software module in close cooperation with mechanical engineers and pump manufacturers. The simplified and guided parameterization of the application is a crucial improvement. This has the advantage that the time and costs required for the commissioning as well as the application-related adjustment are significantly reduced. The entire drive package consists of a constant pump, a servo motor, a b maXX 5000 converter and the servo pump control function integrated in the servo pump. The comprehensive range of dynamic motors and converters in different cooling versions from Baumüller offers the right drive solution for an optimal and energy-efficient process design according to the respective load profile of the application.
Product highlitsThe Baumüller servomotors DS2 were optimized even further for plastic and rubber applications as well as for printing, forming and textile machines through speed increases and performance enhancements and are ideal for the most demanding applications in mechanical engineering. The robust and compact motors are also largely maintenance-free, which is another plus for economical operation.
The servo motors of the DSH1 series were developed for applications that require maximum precision. Thanks to an extra-low cogging torque, the latest derivative of the servo motor product range achieves an extremely good control quality, making it particularly suitable for applications that require a high level of running smoothness. The DSH1 servo motors are available in the sizes of 45-100, covering a speed range of up to 5000 rpm.
With the multi-axis controller B maXX 5800, Baumüller is presenting a compact solution at the trade fair for the control of up to six drive axes. The controller can be freely configured by the mechanical engineer, i.e. it can be equipped with exactly the right individual axis performance. The compact system reduces the wiring effort and provides faster communication, since dead times from the fieldbus communication from one controller to the other are eliminated.
