Atlas to debut the new Ci3000…

Atlas will debut the next generation Ci3000 Weather-Ometer at K 2025, the leading international trade fair for the plastics and rubber industries. The company will present the instrument in Hall 10, Booth D27. A benchmark solution for accelerated weathering and lightfastness testing, the Ci3000 is used across plastics, coatings and automotive laboratories. The latest update builds on that foundation, with refinements aimed at the evolving demands of durability testing environments, including smoother workflows and stronger integration within test labs. Within the Atlas Weather-Ometer lineup, the Ci3000 is the most compact and cost-effective rotating-rack xenon arc model, alongside the higher-capacity Ci4400 and Ci5000. It delivers accelerated weathering by exposing materials to precisely controlled cycles of xenon arc light, heat, moisture and spray, compressing years of natural exposure into weeks of laboratory time.

Chelsea Todd, product marketing manager at Atlas, said, "The Ci3000 has earned its place in labs around the world by doing exactly what customers need, producing accurate, repeatable weathering data. This update makes it even easier to use and better connected to today’s faster, more integrated testing workflows."

Earlier this year, Atlas introduced upgrades to its Suntest XLS and XXL models, adding the XenoTouch II 2.0 interface, expanded libraries of standardized test methods and enhanced remote monitoring software, WXView II. The Suntest instruments now share the same user experience found on the Ci-Series and Xenotest platforms, making it easier for teams to move between instruments and standardize workflows across the lab. Visitors at K 2025 can preview the new Ci3000 Weather-Ometer alongside the next-generation Suntest XLS and XXL in Hall 10, D27, from October 8 to 15 in Düsseldorf.
