Arburg after Chinaplas 2011

Arburg after Chinaplas 2011 “For Arburg, the Chinaplas 2011 in Guangzhou was a thoroughly successful and productive trade fair,” said Managing Director Sales, Helmut Heinson.

He added that the two exhibits fully coincided with the interests of the trade visitors and also demonstrated the range of the Arburg machine offerings: on the one hand, the Allrounder 470 C Golden Edition as a high-quality hydraulic injection moulding machine and on the other, the high performance hybrid Allrounder 720 H machine running a complex thin-walled application from the packaging sector.

"The Chinaplas is the second most important exhibition of the year for us and thus a fixed date in our calendar,“ describes Arburg’s Managing Director Sales. In keeping with the significance of the Chinaplas, Arburg was present with a strong international team in Guangzhou in order to provide comprehensive support and individual consulting to customers and prospects.

In addition to Arburg Managing Director Sales Helmut Heinson and Max Man, who as Managing Director of the Arburg subsidiary in Shenzhen assumes responsibility for the trade fair in Guangzhou, Sunny Poon, Zhao Tong and David Chan, the Managing Directors of the Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore subsidiaries, were also in attendance. They were joined by further sales personnel and experts from the application technology consulting and service departments. The latter not only looked after the two exhibits, but also stood by the machines to answer all the interested visitors’ questions regarding Arburg injection moulding technology and the Selogica machine control systems.

The numerous technical discussions impressively reflected the high level of interest in Arburg’s high-tech machines. In terms of the machines, the hybrid Hidrive series was the main focus as it combines high productivity, energy efficiency and short cycle times, making it predestined for the booming packaging sector. Furthermore, topics such as the processing liquid silicone (LSR) and powder injection moulding were discussed. Arburg is a pioneer in both these fields and, accordingly, has many years of comprehensive know-how at its disposal. The Arburg team was particularly pleased that in addition to new projects being discussed with existing customers, new business contacts were also established in the context of the trade fair.

At the end of the four-day fair, everyone agreed: “At the Chinaplas 2011, we not only impressively demonstrated the high performance of our Allrounder injection moulding machines. Our entire presence, from the exhibition stand and the exhibits through to customer support and advice, clearly reflect what Arburg is all about: quality, competence and reliability.”
