A hand-held press for easy and safe crimping of low-pressure hoses carrying liquid and gaseous media. The press operates on hoses with an outer diameter range from 10 mm to 36 mm. Using the press makes hose crimping safer for the operator, eliminating the risk of injury often associated with worm drive clamps. Due to its low weight, the press can be easily moved and used wherever the finished hoses are to be used. The press is complemented by stainless steel TFK crimping sleeves.
