I will sell 450 kg of DuPont SELAR® PA 2072 NC010 granulate, a barrier polyamide copolymer (amorphous PA) in natural color (NC010). Material in good condition - tightly packed.


Technical characteristics:

  • Trade name: SELAR® PA 2072
  • Type: Amorphous Polyamide (Copolymer) / Barrier Copolymer PA
  • Color: natural (NC010 – without color)
  • Form: granulate – 25 kg bags
  • Barrier properties: excellent oxygen and aroma barrier, especially in humid conditions – comparable to EVOH, superior to PA6
Physical and mechanical parameters:


  • Density: about 1.19 g/cm³
  • Tensile strength: approx. 70 MPa
  • Processing temperatures: approx. 210–260 °C (according to TDS Selar® PA)
  • Requires drying before processing (hygroscopic)

Applications:


  • Production of barrier films (blown or cast film) – food, meat and cheese packaging
  • Perfect for multi-layer structures with EVOH for optimal barrier properties
  • It can also be used in the formation of plastic cosmetic containers (e.g. tubes, bottles) - requiring resistance to chemicals and moisture
