A wide range of plastic sheets that are perfect for thermoforming and as structural elements in many industries

ABS – a copolymer of acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene – produced by extrusion. ABS is an amorphous material, and sheets made from it are characterized by high ductility , impact resistance , and good heat resistance . ABS sheets are antistatic without the need for antistatic additives.

Types - may have a surface structure: smooth, orange peel and sand.

Dimensions

thickness range from 0.8 to 6.0 mm

width range from 300 to 1500 mm

length range up to 4000 mm.

Additional modifications

• color consistent with RAL, PANTONE or an agreed pattern

• possibility of producing 2-layer boards type AB, ABA

• use of additives that increase UV resistance

• FR flame retardant boards

• possibility of surface preparation (corona treatment)

• possibility of securing the boards with a protective foil on one or both sides

• possibility of applying marking tapes to the plates

Chemical properties

ABS sheets demonstrate sufficient resistance to alkalis, diluted acids, a wide range of aliphatic hydrocarbons, and many oils and fats. Aromatics, esters, ketones, and strong acids cause stress corrosion cracking or swelling of the material.

Physical properties: high stiffness, higher impact strength, resistance to temperature changes
