Syensqo has signed a new long-term supply agreement with Airbus. Under the contract, Syensqo will continue to supply a broad range of advanced materials from its portfolio, including prepregs, RTM resins, adhesives and primers. These materials will support Airbus programs in commercial aircraft, space and defense platforms, and helicopters. The agreement confirms the continuation of cooperation between the composite materials supplier and one of the leading OEMs in the aerospace sector. According to information provided by the company, the aerospace and defense market is currently growing due to increasing demand for advanced materials that enable efficient manufacturing processes and support high production rates.
Scope of the contract and importance for aerospace manufacturing
Under the new agreement, Syensqo will remain a supplier of materials used in Airbus programs covering various segments of the manufacturer’s operations. The portfolio covered by the contract includes prepregs, RTM resins, adhesives and primers, solutions used in the production of composite structures as well as in bonding and surface preparation processes.
