Offerings continuously expanded in Belgium

Arburg's activities in Belgium began in the early 1960s and culminated in the establishment of a fully owned subsidiary in Holsbeek in 1992.

The subsidiary's location in the Brussels metropolitan area means that all parts of the country are within easy reach. Moreover, Belgium's high-tech region with numerous plastics processing companies is located in the north-west of the country. Simon Bemong, who had previously worked for trading partner D.V.G. assumed management of the subsidiary. The company therefore had an expert in charge right from the outset, who was highly familiar with both the Arburg technology and the customers. Together with his team, he has continuously expanded the offerings for Arburg customers in Belgium. The hotline provides prompt assistance on the phone support and the service technicians are quickly at hand to find solutions and also to perform preventive maintenance tasks on-site. Because all employees speak at least four languages, communication is not a problem. The same applies to seminars and training courses, which are available in English, French, Flemish and German. The offering ranges from application-oriented, machine and maintenance courses, through to customer-specific training.
