Melt pump also can be called polymer pump, extrusion gear pump, metering pump and so on.
It is used on kinds of plastic extrusion line, line sheet, film, tube, cable, pipe, profile and so on extrusion lines.
Its’ mainly function is to control melt flow, pressure regulate and then to reach the products quality control.

Whole set melt pump include melt pump body, driven system, control system. For driven system, it is made of motor and reducer to drive the melt pump body shaft rotation. For control system, it is composed of many electrical parts. It is mainly used to control the speed, temperature and pressure of the pump.

Extruder gear pump is used on extruder for transporting and metering high temperature and viscosity polymer melt ; at the same time, increase and stabilize the pressure of  material from extruder then transport to die. Its capacity of stabilizing and metering kinds of plastics is better than kinds of extrusion.
