Petcore Europe is now focused on helping the value chain to reach the PPWR targets for collection, sorting and recycling to achieve at least the 30% recycled content for the PET thermoforms. 

The first day of the event will feature presentations from all major experts in the field of thermoforms, followed by panel discussions with the guests from the industry. Also, high-level speakers will join us to explain the goals & expectations of the European Commission for the PET trays. ​

On the second day Petcore EuropeUROPE will organize a visit to laboratories certified in the application of the Tray Recyclability protocols, where you can see how the circularity of thermoformed packaging is evaluated, and where packaging made with Recycled PET is evaluated for food contact.
