The basic advantages are welding of most plastics and natural materials containing even a small addition of synthetics, 100% repeatability of the technological cycle and very high bonding strength. In photographs 3 and 4, the discoloration is clearly visible at the weld spot, which proves that the weld strength is not much lower than the strength of the material. This is because the heat generated by the ultrasound head is released inside the material without overheating as it happens in resistance welding machines (this mainly applies to PVC film).
