Currently, printing inks on film cannot be removed in the recycling process, and the resulting plastic is used only for low-value products.

ink problems are:

ink produces color, so this recycled film can only be used in dark products.
The paint transfers the fragrance to plastic.
The paint causes gassing in the recycling process.
2 degassing is needed to pellet recovered plastic due to the ink content.
The paint affects the mechanical properties of the final product.
When processing printed films, it is very often necessary to replace the filters in the extrusion line.

Currently, printed films are sold to re-cyclers at a lower price. This film due to the ink can only be used for the production of low-value products, such as garbage bags, and agricultural applications. This is the worst film because it cannot be recovered for better applications.

De-inking solution

The de-inking technology developed by our company transforms plastic waste into a new raw material with similar properties as the primary raw materials.
For us, printed film is not a waste, for us it is a high-value product.
A high-quality product, just as good as the original granulate, obtained thanks to the technology developed by our company. Therefore, these recycled plastics can be used in the same applications as the original material.
The process is based on removing ink from the film surface with a water-based mix.
Decoloration technology involves various stages: decolorization, rinsing, drying and extrusion
In the recycling industry there is a big problem with such films and we have found a way.
Benefits for the industry from the use of de-inking technology are: reduction of purchase costs and increase in margin.
Our company, using decolorization technology, will produce high quality recycled materials, which leads to increased competitiveness.
It is an idea to change the current recycling process. With this new model, it wins with everyone: in industry, the environment and society.

In the recycling industry there is a big problem with such films and we have found a solution.
