BARATTI vacuum pump 7.5 kW

These compact Roots blowers belong to the group of dry-running positive displacement pumps. This means there is no need for oil or grease in the compression chamber. Oil lubrication is used only for the gearbox and bearings, separated from the pumping chamber. Two non-contact, two-lobe Roots rotors rotate relative to each other in the compression chamber. The patented discharge design prevents pulsation issues and at the same time minimizes backflow from the discharge side. The result is lower power demand, a higher compression ratio and a wider control range of the blower. Air or gas mixtures are transported by the rotor movement, enter the casing and are carried to the discharge side of the blower, where they are compressed in the connected pipeline or system.

The basic unit includes one Roots blower stage with free shaft extensions, enabling integration with customer-specific systems. The flow direction is vertical.
