Great interest for Gneuss' new IV booster JUMP at K 2016

Great interest for Gneuss'… This year's K show in Düsseldorf was once again an extremely successful one for Gneuss. The wide range of different innovations and latest developments attracted numerous visitors to the Gneuss booth.

International visitors were especially attracted by the Gneuss recycling systems on display, based on the proven Gneuss MRS extruder together with the optional liquid phase IV booster JUMP, which enables waste to be directly reintroduced into the production process. This new, add-on system is coupled directly to the extrusion unit ensures accurate IV boosting with its sophisticated process for increasing the molecule chain lengths and therefore the IV. Compared with conventional SSP systems, the JUMP offers a compact and extremely efficient alternative - it was enthusiastically received.

At the K, Gneus presented specially-developed product configurators. These permit complete lines to be individually tailored and planned to the customer's individual requirements with only a few mouse clicks.


The visitors' attention was not only attracted by the Gneuss extrusion lines for PET industrial, post-consumer recycling and for thermoforming sheet but also by the high-performance Gneuss Rotary Melt Filtration Systems for a wide range of polymers and applications. These systems operate pressure and process constant, even under the most demanding conditions.

Many orders for Rotary Filtration Systems and extrusion lines were agreed at the K and practically all the exhibits, including the extrusion line for PET thermoforming sheet were sold.


During the K, at the Gneuss technical facility in Bad Oeynhausen, a PET thermoforming sheet line, including an MRS extruder, RSFgenius Melt Filtration System and Online Viscometer VIS was displayed. Over 50 visitors from Latin America, Asia and Europe used the opportunity of a shuttle service from Düsseldorf to the Gneuss factory in Bad Oeynhausen in order to gain an impression of the high quality of food contact grade PET thermoforming sheet made from post-consumer PET bottle flake, made possible by the Gneuss equipment.
