Arburg Poland inaugurates new Technology Center

Arburg Poland inaugurates… With around 110 guests in attendance, Arburg Polska Sp. z o o inaugurated the Arburg Technology Center (ATC) in Warsaw on 19 April 2016 in the presence of Partners Michael and Eugen Hehl and Managing Director Gerhard Böhm. The new building will make it possible to offer customers an even better service. With the 800 square metre modern building, Arburg is investing in the future.

"Our success to date has shown that continuous investments in our international organisations pay," said partner Michael Hehl in his address before thanking the guests for their trust in Arburg and successful cooperation over the past decades on behalf of the entire organisation: "The construction of the Arburg Technology Center in Warsaw is an important milestone and reflects the great importance for Arburg of the Polish market, in which we have been present for more than 20 years."

Senior Partner Eugen Hehl also insisted on travelling to Warsaw with the new Managing Director Sales, Gerhard Böhm, in order to inaugurate the new building.

"I am delighted that one of my first official duties has taken me to one of the jewels in the crown of the international Arburg organisation," said Gerhard Böhm in his speech. The reasons for the successful development of the subsidiary, which was founded in 1992, are the high-end injection moulding technology and, above all, the excellent customer support. The team in Poland currently comprises 20 employees, eight of whom belong to the Service department. Most of them have worked for Arburg for ten years or more and this is reflected in their expertise.

"The new ATC will allow us to provide an even better service," said a delighted Dr. Slawomir Sniady, Managing Director of Arburg Polska Sp. z o.o.: "With a usable floorspace of 240 square metres, the new demonstration room is three times the size of our old one and offers space for up to seven Allrounders, which will be used for preliminary acceptance of turnkey systems, tests with customer moulds and training courses. We also have a larger spare parts store and rooms for training courses and technical seminars. We are also experts in sales and order processing. This is something that our customers value very highly."

As part of the inauguration event, the guests had the opportunity to experience for themselves the performance capabilities of the new electric Allrounders from the Golden Electric entry-level series, which celebrated its global premiere at the Arburg Technology Days in March.
