Rust-Oleum 5500 is an excellent paint for swimming pools, tanks and fountains.
Rust-Oleum 5500 is a 100% solvent-free high-build pool paint based on two-component epoxy resins. The paint for the pool is suitable for painting concrete and masonry, it can also be applied to steel cleaned by abrasive blasting and is suitable as a paint for tiles (glaze paint).
Tank Paint 5500 dries to a hard enamel-like surface, making it very easy to clean. Pool Paint 5500 can be used on both walls and floors.
The 5500 pool paint is very chemically resistant (e.g. to chlorine) and has a high abrasion resistance. Provides proper protection in conditions of high air humidity and surface moisture.
Rust-Oleum 5500 tank paint is certified by the National Institute of Hygiene for contact with drinking water and food.
