Covestro - K 2025 Preview

Jochen D. Hardt, VP Global Marketing Mobility at Covestro, presents the company’s plans for K 2025. Their booth will feature an open and interactive concept with five key topic areas, including sustainability and circular economy.

A major highlight will be the “People Mover” - an autonomous e-shuttle developed with over 10 partners, entirely built using Covestro materials such as polycarbonate and recycled content. It’s a government- and EU-funded project demonstrating real-world applications and material innovation.

Covestro will also showcase new material concepts like Arfinio, a lightweight solid surface material, and easy-to-recycle monomaterial solutions. In digital innovation, the company is advancing with realistic digital twins of materials – fully integrated into Autodesk for design simulation and virtual prototyping.

Other highlights include car-to-car recycling projects and a strong focus on regulations shaping future material use in automotive and electronics sectors.
