We offer used THF solvent - Tetrahydrofuran, anhydrous ANHYDROUS (max. 0.003% H₂O).
THF was used for GPC gel permeation chromatography - a technique used to analyze the molecular weights of polymers, mainly rubbers and polystyrenes.
Polymer contamination is approximately 2.4 mg in 2.5 l of THF (~1 mg of polymer/1 l).
Application:
Cleaning equipment, e.g. reactors, from various types of polymers.
THF is a very good solvent for plastics, e.g. rubbers, polystyrenes, adhesives and latexes.
The solvent is available in 2.5 l bottles.
