Dr. Jörg Schottek is the new CEO of the Hromatka Group

Dr. Jörg Schottek is the new… Dr. Jörg Schottek has taken up his position as CEO of the Hromatka Group. The doctor of chemistry and former head of Albis thus takes charge of those companies in the Hromatka Group that specialise in technical plastics – Grässlin Kunststoffe (Germany), Plastoplan (Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic), Lenorplastics (Switzerland), Aectra Plastics (Romania and Bulgaria), Polymix IP (France) and Sax Polymers (Switzerland, Austria and Romania).

Thanks to various international positions in the past, including at Hoechst and Celanese (formerly Ticona), Dr. Jörg Schottek has many years of experience in the plastics sector and in distribution. Most recently, Dr. Jörg Schottek led the Otto Krahn Group very successfully and, as spokesman of the management board, was responsible for the Albis Group and for Krahn Chemie, among others. - We are delighted to have acquired such an experienced manager in Dr. Jörg Schottek. Our goal is to be able to offer our customers the best products at all times with strong suppliers, and by these means to continue developing our market share in each of the local markets. Furthermore, we aim to continue entering new markets, so that we can also convince customers there with our concepts, experience, dynamism and enthusiasm - says owner Hans Hromatka. Together with Roger Geissberger and Dr. Roland Lohnert, Dr. Schottek will be responsible for the operative and strategic development of the Hromatka Group. Hans and Alexander Hromatka will continue to be involved in all strategic matters.

The Hromatka Group has grown to become an important distributor in the European plastics market. The group has a very attractive portfolio with a strong international orientation and expertise. Highly qualified local experts are active in ten countries and advise customers in finding solutions for their problems.
