The Piovan UK catalogue consists of the complete Piovan range including blending, drying and conveying equipment, temperature control units, chilling equipment and granulators and also the Crizaf range of conveyors, separation and box handling equipment.
“The company is very forward thinking,” said Gibbens. “Recent innovations include the Honeycomb rotor driers, which tests have shown can use 35% less energy than conventional twin bed desiccant driers, and the Genesys range of PET drying systems, which consume only 65 W/Kg.
“The prospect of introducing these new important developments to customers is exciting and once I have settled in I look forward to getting out and about and meeting new customers to discuss what we can offer.”
Nick Fox, director and general manager of Piovan UK, added: “Andy and I both believe whole heartedly in the importance of customer support and care, and to this end Piovan UK has increased the number of engineers and strengthened our after-sales team for spare parts.
“The last couple of years have been tough for everyone in the industry but recent orders, particularly in PET processing, have given us a fantastic foundation to increase market share as we emerge from the recession.”
