Open House at Ferromatik Milacron

Open House at Ferromatik Milacron Next to Ferromatik Milacron itself, there'll also be enterprises of the Milacron Group and another 35 partner firms who will be exhibiting during the two-day event. Among the Milacron Group are DME, Mold-Masters, Kortec, Uniloy Milacron and Cincinnati Milacron Extrusion Systems with their own exhibits.

With a total of eight machines from the modular F Series with clamping forces ranging from 500 to 6,500 kN, Ferromatik Milacron shows a broad range of applications, with the focus on Packaging, Technical Molding and Medical. Different fitment variants are shown in function. Machines of the F-Series in the shape of hybrid or all-electric injection molds are in operation for different production requirements. One outstanding highlight is the premiere of the new F 580 with 5.800 kN clamping force, shown to the specialist audience at the in-house exhibition for the first time.

K-TEC Series with servo-hydraulic drive is also new in Ferromatik Milacron's delivery programme. A K-TEC 350 two-component machine with Mono Sandwich application will be displayed.

Ferromatik Milacron's leadership in multi-component engineering covering many years is underscored with the all-electric F 270 Cube with the first all-electric cube machine from Foboha.

From the all-electric Elektron Series, four more machines with different clamping forces from 300 to 2,600 kN round off Ferromatik Milacron's exhibition program. They are the ideal solution for standard applications and boast an excellent cost-performance ratio.

The exhibition programme is completed by exhibits of Cincinnati Milacron Extrusion Systems and Uniloy Blow Molding. An extrusion plant for production of WPC-decking boards and a blow molding machine UMIB 200 will be shown in function. The most remarkable feature of these blow molding machines is the EnergiaZero concept that can convert the kinetic energy of the clamp movement into electric power. The idea is based on the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) as used in Formula 1 racing cars.
