At K 2016 in Dusseldorf, Germany, it was once again clear how much the value of recycling has risen in the plastics industry in recent years and how interest has grown in investing in the best technology and in developing the best possible complete recycling concept. For this reason, Josef Hochreiter, CEO of NGR, is overwhelmingly positive in his assessment after eight exciting days at K 2016. "The K plastics trade show is the biggest, most influential trade show in the world. We are pleased that NGR made its mark with the international plastics industry in Dusseldorf through its efforts and its innovations presented."
It takes innovative solutions to provide innovative plastics recyclingS.M.A.R.T. DIALOG, inline melt characterization, revolutionary PET up/recycling with P: REACT, increased energy efficiency for all recycling solutions... You had to take time to visit the NGR booth. NGR presented no fewer than five world premieres as well as numerous pioneering innovations to the international audience of professionals on some 400 m² - sharing a booth for the first time with Collin and BritAS.
Plastics are a valuable resource
However, one thing is also true: AFTER the world's biggest trade show "K" is BEFORE the next "K". So it is important for CEO Josef Hochreiter to continue to take the next steps after a successful K 2016 and to forge ahead with the vision: "We need to strive towards treating a material like plastic as a valuable resource in the circular economy sustainably during every phase of its product lifecycle. With our technical solution expertise, we at NGR and in association with the NEXT GENERATION GROUP are a key force in driving the plastics industry's transition to a circular economy."
