Heinz has developed Nurture Follow-On milks, suitable from 6 months, to offer an advanced, combined approach designed to nourish, protect and develop babies when used as part of a diversified weaning diet. Its development follows an extensive period of scientific research, drawing upon published clinical data from Europe`s leading baby nutrition experts. The standard formulation includes new ingredients that are all clinically proven to offer advanced nutritional and health benefits to babies, while Heinz also provides a specialist product for babies with sensitive tummies, called Nurture Gentle Follow-On.
To underline the launch, Heinz elected to develop a bespoke packaging format that facilitates portion control, ease of preparation and product protection for the benefit of consumers. The milk powder is contained in a high-barrier paperboard can from Sonoco which is hermetically sealed to maintain product quality on-shelf. Heinz turned to RPC Market Rasen to design and manufacture an innovative recloseable lid.
RPC Market Rasen`s expertise is apparent in the complex construction of the lid. Injection moulded in silver PP, the overcap is hinged to give parents easy access at feeding time, while further convenience is provided by the detachable PP scoop, which is clipped to the underside of the lid for ease of access and improved hygiene. An integral levelling bar on the inside of the lid is provided so that parents can accurately measure powder in the scoop in a fast and efficient one-handed operation.
