BOY with new representation at Plastpol in Poland
From the 22nd to the 25th of May, a fully automatic production cell for plastic glasses will be presented at the BOY booth in hall C. The BOY-Handling LR 5 removes the injected glasses from the mould of a BOY 50 E and places them on an integrated conveyor belt. The trade fair presence will be supplemented by a BOY XXS, on which glass-fiber-reinforced snap hooks made of PA are injected with 3D printed metal mould inserts.
Both Injection Moulding Machines of the E series are equipped with a servo-motor pump drive, which, in addition to its dynamic mode of operation, impresses with its high energy efficiency and smooth running. The patented Procan ALPHA control system offers an intuitive, text-reduced operation with integrated machine manual. The desktop machine BOY XXS with 0.89 m² footprint as well as the BOY 50 E with 3.25 m² footprint impress with their compact dimensions. The BOY-Handling LR 5, mounted onto the Injection Moulding Machine, scores in terms of repeatability and fast driving movements. The 5-axes industrial robot developed by BOY is intended to remove parts from the mould of an Injection Moulding Machine, to separate them or to insert semi-finished products into it.
The handling device has a CE-compliant protective housing and offers optimum operating functions via a 10" terminal with wired emergency stop and confirming (deadman) button.
