At Pharmapack Europe, visitors can see the whole range of desiccant solutions from Sanner: apart from integrated desiccants, the manufacturer of high-quality primary plastic packaging and medical devices also presents its innovative drop-in solutions AdPack and AdCap. The AdPack desiccant sachets made of Tyvek material offer an ideal combination of breathability, moisture protection and durability. The desiccant capsules AdCap, in turn, combine the advantages of conventional capsules and canisters, while offering high stability and a 30 percent higher moisture adsorption. Their unique grid structure enables a 360-degree moisture adsorption and prevents mistakes during ingestion.
Expansion of the Pharma Desiccant Packaging portfolioDue to the high demand, their excellent processability and to cover all customer requirements, the AdCap capsules will be available in new variants as of 2018: on the one hand, activated carbon ensures optimum odor adsorption. On the other hand, AdCap capsules with a mixture of silica gel and activated carbon can be inserted into the container for drugs that require both odor and moisture adsorption. “With the expansion of our Pharma Desiccant Packaging portfolio, we are successfully strengthening our core business and underlining our position as leading provider of desiccant solutions,” says Dirk Mähr, Managing Director of Sanner GmbH.
Holistic solution provider for effervescent packagingAnother highlight at Sanner’s Pharmapack booth is the first joint tradeshow appearance with the subsidiary Jaco S.A. Following the acquisition of the French specialist for tube packaging in May 2017, Sanner has advanced to the global market leader for effervescent packaging. “Our customers benefit from the competencies of two packaging specialists: together, we can provide a comprehensive portfolio consisting of desiccant closures and tubes from a single source,” Dirk Mähr emphasizes. Moreover, Sanner’s experience in desiccant packaging and Jaco’s expertise in printing technologies for tubes and containers ideally complement each other. At Pharmapack, Jaco underlines the successful integration into the Sanner group with a new logo in Sanner blue.
