The Benefits of Upgrading: Zhejiang Meixun Debuts Automatic Honeycomb Paperboard Production & Processing Equipment

China’s research into honeycomb paperboard production started in the late 1980s. After several years of development, local honeycomb paperboard technology has made vast strides and is now characterized by more accurate equipment that is stronger, has a wider application range, consumes less energy and cuts the cost of production.

Honeycomb paperboard is an environmentally sensitive material made of high strength honeycomb paper core and various types of low cost, heat-proof, noise-proof, high strength, non-pollutant kraft paper.

Due to the unique structure of honeycomb material, traditional materials can be replaced by various compound board materials to reduce production costs and cut energy consumption. Honeycomb paperboard is in fact the most effective, highly optimized application in a structure as it also guarantees the functionality of new materials. It is also cheap, as it uses the recycled paper as its base material. Honeycomb paperboard is widely used in packaging things like electronic appliances, furniture, construction and automobiles for transportation. This material has a high practical, economic and social value.

Zhejiang Meixun supplies the automatic production and processing equipment used to make honeycomb paperboard. The company uses local technologies and is working to establish itself in the China market. At SinoCorrugated South 2012, Meixun will also display its automatic honeycomb paperboard production line. For the show, the company has booked a large booth in a prominent location to vigorously promote its products.

A representative of Zhejiang Meixun said that SinoCorrugated, held by Reed Exhibitions, is the biggest event in the corrugated cardboard manufacturing industry. Meixun participates in this event annually as it always gets a good response from being seen at the show and sometimes even signs contracts for orders on-site. The rep also mentioned that virtually all of China’s corrugated board manufacturing community visits SinoCorrugated South each year. 2012 will be no different. Zhejiang Meixun is looking forward to achieving even better results at the show next year.

Reed Exhibitions has confirmed that there will be numerous engaging activities on-site; to explore the hottest topics in today’s corrugated carton industry. The seminars and workshops will cover corrugated carton production, enterprise management, fortune forums, technology discussions and lectures of new production solutions. Visitors to SinoCorrugated South 2012 can learn about the latest details, market prospects and commercial opportunities through these activities. The event will also be an important channel through which companies share manufacturing best practice and conduct technical exchange.

SinoCorrugated 2012 will take place at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie, Dongguan, from April 11 to April 13.
