Building a Prestigious International Exhibition for the Corrugated Industry
SinoCorrugated 2011 To Take Place in April 2011

Following the success of SinoCorrugated 2010, the industry is already looking ahead to next year’s edition of the show. Organized by Reed Exhibitions, SinoCorrugated 2011 will be a premium event on the corrugated industry calendar, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center between April 6 and April 9, 2011.

The show will bring together the world's leading suppliers of carton equipment and consumables. It will also be the place where the latest cardboard and carton manufacturing equipment and related consumables are showcased. Visitors will be able to take in a wide array of new technologies, products and solutions for pre-print, print and post-print – all from the corrugated industry. They’ll also be able to see a live representation of the rapid development of the global corrugated industry and gain insight into new technologies and market trends.

The SinoCorrugated Project Team is already actively engaged in recruiting key exhibitors for the show. A host of renowned domestic and international equipment manufacturers, including Bobst, BHS, EMBA, Fosber, BP Agnati, Goettsch, Taiwan Ming Wei, Shanghai Eterna, Baowang Machinery, Taiwan Tangcheng, Hubei Jingshan, Xiexu Machinery, Nantai, Qingdao Meiguang, Shanghai DingLong, Keshenglong, Qingdao Justu, Qingdao Kaituo, Weifang Donghang, Qingzhou EKOFA and Wanlian Machinery have already reserved the booths. Indeed, several exhibitors booked their space for SinoCorrugated 2011 as early as 2009. Next year’s show is expected to span 50,000 sqm.

As the global economy recovers, so the international corrugated industry is being revitalized. The recently released Global Corrugated Market Report by the Freedonia Group forecasts that global demand for corrugated boxes will grow at a rate of 3.4% per year, reaching 213 billion sqm by 2013. The growth rate in Asia-Pacific, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East will exceed the average global growth rate. China will maintain strong growth momentum, with a growth rate of nearly 15% per annum. The country is projected to have overtaken the US as the world's largest corrugated box market by 2013. For this reason, the organiser will invite internationally renowned buyers from the trade, with high purchase intent. Over half of these visitors will be business executives with decision-making influence. The opportunity to engage in face-to-face communication and negotiations with exhibitors is proving a huge draw.

The success of past SinoCorrugated shows has been down to the powerfully professional visitor organization team. In order to create a more powerful platform for international business and to ensure a high return on exhibitors’ investment, the organizers will again undertake a series of proactive measures to secure the participation of key domestic and overseas buyers. These will include direct mail, telephone and online marketing; advertising and media coverage – all of which offer a wide range of promotion opportunities for each participating company.

According to a post-exhibition survey, a large majority of exhibitors declared themselves completely satisfied or very satisfied with the results of the previous exhibition. Several exhibitors admitted that SinoCorrugated played a crucial role in their worldwide business promotion and that through their participation in the exhibition, they established contact with buyers from regions including China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, the US, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine, France, Italy, Spain and Finland.

China’s corrugated box machinery industry is developing rapidly. Therefore, in order to adapt to market competition, many corrugated equipment manufacturers prioritize the R&D of advanced packaging machinery and equipment that can save energy, reduce costs, achieve high performance and perform multiple functions. As the world's leading corrugated packaging event, SinoCorrugated is an excellent platform on which to release new products and technologies.

SinoCorrugated, the leading exhibition for the corrugated box industry, seeks to expand its influence in global markets. The show also strives to remain the first-choice platform via which corrugated packaging enterprises develop business, penetrate global markets and understand industry development trends.
