The ABS resin, three substance copolymer of Acrylonitrile(AN), Butadiene(BD), Styrene(SM), shows excellent impact strength, mechanical characteristics, chemical resistance, processability, and coloring.
Thus it is widely used for various electric and electronic parts, automobile interior parts, toys, pipe, etc. Generally, its composition ratio is 5~30%(Acrylonitrile), 15~30%(Butadiene), 45~70%(Styrene), respectively. And the control of function and property through this ratio and addition of functional additives makes various ABS required customers.

GPPS/HIPS Flame Retardant HIPS
The PS resin is divided into GPPS(General Purpose Polystyrene) and HIPS(High Impact Polystyrene). GPPS is a thermoplastic resin of excellent transparency, and is a general purpose resin in wide use owing to its inexpensive cost, excellent processability and mechanical characteristics. HIPS generally has a rubber content of 5~15%, and is an opaque resin that is applied to products calling for impact-resistance.

The SAN resin is copolymer of Acrylonitrile(AN) having chemical resistance and Styrene(SM) of processability, and shows excellent tensile strength, flexural strength, impact resistance, creep resistance, wear resistance, and chemical resistance compared with GPPS. And it is used for electric and electronic parts, automobile, and industrial machinery, etc.

The EPS resin, produced by suspension polymerization, is divided into flame retardant, general-purpose and low foaming products by purpose. EPS products are manufactured through a processing procedure that includes preliminary foaming, digestion and molding, and it is lightweight, retentive of warmth, impact-resistant and of good processability. It is widely used in adiabatic materials, impact-absorbing packaging materials, fishery box, Robot tray and special.

Our starex weather resistance ASA (Acrylic Styrene Acrylonitrile) resin was developed with our own technology, and it has the same level of physical properties as general ABS resins. Furthermore, it has superior high weather resistance and retains stable physical properties for a long time, so that it can be applied as outdoor external materials.

The PC/ABS alloy is an excellent engineering plastics alloy resin, which combines the excellent material properties of engineering plastics while maintaining the processability, low temperature impact resistance and platability which are advantages of an ABS resin. The good molding processability and secondary processability of ABS resin also bestows an advantage that makes it an ideal material property.
Furthermore, it has a wide spectrum of use from functional parts down to the external material for automobile and electric and electronic products, due to the bringing in of thermal stability, weatherability, and flame retardant.

The PC is a Polycarbonate resin with excellent impact strength, heat-resistance and dimensional stability, that is widely used in electric and electronic products, precision equipments, automobile, medical instruments and household.

Among various engineering plastics, PBT (Polybutylenterephthalate) resin is a crystalline resin with particularly excellent heat-resistance, chemical-resistance and electrical characteristics in combination with a fast crystallization speed. Thus it is known as the most balanced resin of good material property for a short molding cycle, weatherability, friction resistance, wear-resistance, dimensional stability and heat-resisting aging and economic evaluation.

Modified polyphenylene ether(MPPE) is an alloy of high impact polystyrene(HIPS) and polyphenylene ether(PPE) which is also called as polyphenylene oxide(PPO).
staren MPPE(modified Poyl(phenylene ether)) is available in general heat resistant, flame retardant and heat resistant, general glass fiber reinforced, and flame retardant glass fiber reinforced grades.

PPS resins melts at 280℃ and has excellent chemical resistance. It retains flame resistance in itself and can be flame resistant without flame retardants, so it can be called friendly to environment flame resistance resins. Generally, it is used with 40 percent to 65 percent of glass fiber or inorganic materials being added.
