MSV is the biggest trade event in Chech Republic for the engineering industry.

The last edition of the MSV was again the largest presentation of industrial technologies in the area of Central Europe. Its scope, high number of business discussions and also lots of concluded contracts, directly at the fair, confirmed the starting revival of economy. Exhibitors’ stands occupied all halls of the Brno Exhibition Centre and also a large part of open spaces. On the first four days more than 70 000 visitors came to the Exhibition Centre and the total number of visitors will exceed 75 000 persons.

MSV concerns the following specialized branch units:
- mining, metallurgical, foundering, ceramic and glass
engineering,
- materials and components for mechanical engineering,
- drives, hydraulics and pneumatics, cooling technology and
air-conditioning,
- plastics, rubber technology and chemical industry,

- electronics, automation and measuring technology,
- ecological technology,
- research, services, institutions.

This year Poland is country partner of MSV 2011.
