The second meeting for the food packaging sector will be held in Poznań on 14-17 September 2009. Fair of Packaging for Food Industry PAKFOOD is organised every two years and alternates with TAROPAK.

Scope of expositions
Pakfood is addressed to representatives of enterprises, production companies and traders from the food sector and the printing industry. Almost 200 exhibitors from 18 countries participated in the first show in 2007. They presented their offers on the area of 6,500 m2. This event, together with Polagra-Food, attracted 34,000 visitors.

The scope of PAKFOOD 2009 encompasses the most important areas in the food packaging sector:

• packaging - packages and additional packaging materials, materials for packing and package production, package design;
• machines - packing machines and devices, package manufacturing machines, marking and labelling machines, packing machine design;
• technical consulting.
