Velox at interpack 2011

Velox at interpack 2011 VELOX, raw materials distribution and sales specialist is taking part at the interpack 2011, Düsseldorf, Germany, from 12th to 18th May 2011 where it will showcase its range of speciality plastics for the packaging industry.

ASAFLEX, produced from Asahi Kasei Chemicals, Japan, a styrene butadiene copolymer for transparent and high impact applications, offering an excellent impact strength, a high compatibility with other styrenic resins.
BAREX, from INEOS Barex, USA, an acrylonitrile-methyl acrylate copolymers (AMAB) offering high barrier properties to gases such as oxygen and nitrogen, as well as chemical resistance and inertness.
SKYGREEN, high performance PETG and PCTG resins manufactured by SK Chemicals, Korea, offering outstanding toughness, clarity, very good chemical resistance and resistance to stress whitening.
TOPAS, produced by TOPAS, Cyclic olefin copolymers (COCs), are crystal clear amorphous materials based on cyclic and linear olefins exhibiting a unique combination of properties like high transparency, low density, excellent moisture barrier and resistance to aqueous and polar organic media, high rigidity, strength, high purity, high biocompatibility and very good melt processability.
BIOMIND developed by Cabopol, Portugal, bioplastics compounds based on renewable resources, biodegradable and compostable, certified EN 13432 and complying with EEC Directives for direct food contact.

The company Polyram, Ram-On Israel, will also co-exhibit on VELOX’ stand and showcases its Tie Layer range (standard grades and concentrates), Bondyram TL, a modified polyolefin with functional groups, designed to bond all Polyolefins to a variety of substrates such as: PA, EVOH, PET, Aluminium, and others. The material functions as a tie-layer resin in multilayer barrier packaging structures on all kinds of multilayer extrusion processes.
