Skanem was founded in 1905 in Norway and Ole Rugland, the present owner and CEO, acquired the company in 1986. Skanem has today 13 production sites in 8 countries with over 1000 employees in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Russia and Thailand. Skanem serves all segments in need of self adhesive labels and has two additional sectors; Skanem Moss (Metal Packaging) and Riflex Film.
